I know, it’s been a really long time, but I’ve finally put together another video. I filmed it last weekend and edited it over this weekend. It too about 2 hrs. to film and at least 3 hrs. to edit for only 1 minute and 23 seconds of video. It takes longer for me to film stuff like this because I only have one video camera. So if I want a different angle in a scene, I have to move, and make the actor do the shot over again. It’s a little bit of an inconvenience, but still fun. Enjoy the (brief) movie!
I did something in this video that I haven’t ever done before in any of my videos, which is color correction. I wanted to make the film look “hollywood-ish”, and the camcorder I have doesn’t really cut it. But as it turns out, it’s not always the expensive hardware that gives films this look. Big-budget film makers often use color correction and other video effects to give it that professional look. I attempted to add some of my own effects into this film, and it made a big difference, as you can see from the below images:
